Landlord Credit Bureau
Custom WordPress Design & Dual-Country Credit Platform
Brand-New Custom Website Design
U.S. and Canadian Website Experiences
Rent Reporting, Screening, and Tenant Resources

Landlord Credit Bureau needed a brand-new digital presence for a rental-industry credit reporting agency serving both the United States and Canada through LandlordCreditBureau.com and LandlordCreditBureau.ca.
The project required two coordinated country experiences that could explain rent reporting, tenant screening, credit building, privacy, security, compliance, and tenant-record rights in clear language.
MWD Web Design created a custom WordPress website system from the ground up, pairing a unified brand experience with localized U.S. and Canadian content, resources, and conversion pathways.
Transformation

The project began as a new custom build with a complex communication challenge: make an unfamiliar rental-credit ecosystem understandable to landlords, housing providers, tenants, and property managers in two countries.
The completed platform creates distinct audience pathways, explains core services, surfaces legal and compliance resources, and connects users to country-appropriate FrontLobby offerings.

Objective
The primary goal was to build a trustworthy, scalable WordPress presence that communicates Landlord Credit Bureau’s role and supports users across both the U.S. and Canadian rental markets.
Key objectives included:
-
Create a brand-new custom design for the Landlord Credit Bureau brand
-
Build coordinated WordPress experiences for the .com and .ca domains
-
Explain rent reporting, tenant screening, and credit building clearly
-
Create separate pathways for landlords and tenants
-
Localize service links, legislation, and resources by country
-
Provide access to tenant-record request and dispute forms
The platform needed to guide first-time visitors learning about rental reporting as effectively as users seeking a specific service, legal resource, or tenant record form.

Approach
This project combined custom design, dual-domain WordPress development, audience-specific information architecture, country localization, and trust-focused content.
Custom Dual-Domain WordPress Build
We designed and developed coordinated .com and .ca websites from the ground up, giving both markets a consistent brand experience with localized resources and calls to action.
Audience & Service Architecture
Content paths organize rent reporting, tenant screening, and credit building while directing landlords and tenants toward information tailored to their needs.
Country-Specific Localization
The U.S. and Canadian sites use market-appropriate links, credit-bureau references, legal frameworks, application clauses, and service information while maintaining visual consistency.
Trust, Security & Record Resources
Dedicated sections explain privacy, data security, and compliance, while tenant-record request and dispute forms make important rights and processes easier to access.
Responsive Design
Responsive layouts keep services, FAQs, legal resources, tenant forms, and country navigation accessible across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Impact
The new platform gives Landlord Credit Bureau a credible, unified digital presence for explaining rental-data services across two national markets.
Unified Cross-Border Brand
The .com and .ca websites present a consistent identity while serving country-specific user needs and regulatory contexts.
Clearer Service Education
Plain-language sections and FAQs help visitors understand rent reporting, tenant screening, credit building, and tenant records.
Stronger Audience Pathways
Landlords and tenants can move directly toward relevant benefits, pricing, signup options, record requests, and dispute resources.
Long Term Scalability
The dual-domain WordPress foundation supports changing services, legal content, educational articles, and market-specific updates over time.

Results
Landlord Credit Bureau now has a custom digital platform that explains its rental-credit ecosystem and supports users in both the United States and Canada.
The redesigned website:
-
Establishes a professional, trust-focused credit-bureau presence
-
Coordinates U.S. and Canadian content across two domains
-
Clarifies services and next steps for landlords and tenants
-
Keeps legal resources and tenant forms accessible across devices

Provides a scalable foundation for two evolving national markets
